RIDDLE 1

RIDDLE 2
A man was born in 1955. He's alive and well today at age 33. How is this possible?

RIDDLE 3
Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday?

RIDDLE 4
This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it! In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out!

RIDDLE 5
When can you add two to eleven and get one as the correct answer?

RIDDLE 6
If it takes six men six days to dig six holes, how long will it take one man to dig half a hole?

answers on a postcard :D or here whichever you choose first person to get all 3 right wins a prize...i dunno a pop up ad or something i havent decided yet :D

1:  The farmer.  He carried grain, the hired hand only carried their...well..."sacks." ;)

2:  It's 1988.

3:  Crap, why'd I get up today? Damn it's today again? And...Hump day...Sh!t.

4:  You kept asking questions, and never told me anything...Nothing unusual 'bout that. ;D

5:  Can't.  ::)  Unless you're stupid or something.

6:  Half a day?   ???

How many I get right?   ;D

How are we suppose to know that the 2 and the 11 and the 1 are really hours of the day? ::)

Here's a good one. You're gonna love this.

Santa Clause and an honest politician walk into an elevator. The elevator reaches a certain floor. Who get's off first?

To expand on Ender's statement.

As I understand it, bread was sold in total weight.  Say you bought one pound of bread, in a dozen small loaves.  Since scales may not have necessarily been available, and the penalty for "cheating" the buyer could mean the loss of life, bakers tended to throw in an extra piece, hence "baker's dozen"

(the explanation may not be accurate in the quasi-historical references, but it's the gist of how the term "bakers dozen" came about)
