Sorry to hear this old pal. It's been a bad week on the roads here in the UK also. Yesterday some woman pulled out of a side street and smashed up my dad's car.
At least no one was badly hurt.

The problem in the UK is that the poor old motorist is now Public Enemy #1, followed closely by cigarette smokers. This is twice as bad for me as I come under both categories. ::)
This stupid government has successfully turned public opinion against car drivers so pedestrians (& cyclists) now feel they have every right to use the road as well as the pavement however they wish. If I were unlucky enough to hit one of these idiots, I would be the one to suffer whatever the circumstances. Nobody seems to appreciate that I & other drivers pay a considerable amount for the dubious privilege of using the road when nobody else does.

Thatt'll sure get them moving! (not that they can with their pants at absurd lowness)
