but the Seahawks showed up to play the game. they put up a fight. Apparently Half of the Broncos were there for a holiday. i will say i have stuck by Shanahan and his desicions for the last few years, through the Griese years, and through this years crap, but there is absolutly no excuse for what happend today, he is one of the highest paid coaches in the league, but hasnt brought a trophey back to Mile High, since Elway left, most coaches round the league would have been fired by now. Whats worse is this is Shannon Sharpes last game, the greatest TE to ever play the game, has to go out like this, i really hope Rod Smith can talk him out of it.
Urgh i wanna cry:(

gonna be a two page spread in the Denver Post, Page 1 Public lynching returns to Denver.
Page 2: Real estate for like i said 57 large houses.

I never figured out why you guys take all this stuff so seriously. It's only a game for goodness sake. :o
A load of overpaid, overgrown schoolboys running around a field chasing a ball for a few minutes. ::)

Come to think of it - it's no longer a game. It's big business. Is that right they have 57 team members? No wonder these people go broke. LOL

Don't mind me. I could never get this serious about any sport.

What can I say.  The Dolphins went 10-6 and didn't even get into the playoffs.  Dallas, with their easy schedule, got in and, as deserved, got blown out.  I thought Denver was overrated but I didn't thing they were that overrated.

Denver arnt really overrated but they are just lazy, They dont have a leader like john elway or TD anymore. once they are down they let it get to them and they are done.

Yeah you should live here in Tenneesee!!
All you ever here about is college football!!
They have been bitching about how TN was robbed for the "Bowl" games. and now that the season is over the only thing you hear about on TV and radio is spring training starting up!!!
They eat,sleep,breath Volunteer football.
Why is it? Afterall no-one here realizes that UT is a school!!
It isn't known for its fine medical teaching it is known as a football team.
And when you hear these players speak, they sound too stupid to make it into college!   But because they can throw a football they make into a good school, while the kid with straight A's but not the money sits at home or ends up working at a fast food joint trying to make enough to go to a half way decent school!!
As if you can tell I think college sports are way overrated!
A college is a place for learning and becoming something of yourself! Not a stepping stone to the "Big Leauges"!!
I never went to college myself, I had the grades but not the money.
A guy I knew there didn't have the grades(1.8 gpa) but could throw a football, he got a scholarship and went to the University of MI!! And needless to say when his "career" ended due to a shoulder injury in college, I didn't feel bad at all. He also left the school and never got a degree or anything for that matter.
So as you can tell I hold a grudge too this day about sports in general.
All except auto racing!! When will colleges compete in that!! Now there is a sport worth talking about! :)

P.S. Here is my idea for a championship title:
Take the two top rated teams and put them on Jepordy!!

There's only one sport worth taking seriously.  Cricket.

You get four days worth of tense nail biting drama.

Arrh, the sound of willow thwacking against leather on a warm summers evening..... ;D
