I noticed something interesting in their requirements for the program I want to enter, they want the school I graduate from to have at least 25% minority population, which I dont think my current school has , I'll just have to talk to the recruiter about that requirement..

It really depends where you are in the USCG/.  If you are in Cape Cod, you probably won't have to deal with many guns, but massive waves.  If you are in HITRON or near the Gulf of Mexico, plan on taking on some go-fasts.

Speaking from personal experience, the best way to not get shot at is to make DAMN certain she's not married first!  ;D
