Is not this fool aware that accidents happen even to the most experienced & careful people? Anyone can lose their footing without the help of an earthquake. Whatever he might say I don't believe that crocs are the most predictable creatures on this planet.

The guy who was attacked in Las Vegas by his own tiger comes to mind :-/

"But this must be happening for a reason. And I sincerely believe that Bindi is the most well-rounded kid her age, and by crikey, is the most croc savvy kid her age in the world.

We all know how much common sense a two month old has.  What is Bindi going to do should she be put in danger?  She can't even crawl yet, much less run away.  What the heck is a 'Crock-savvy' two month old! >:(

This guy gets more stupid every time he opens his mouth...

The baby is a boy. Bindi is his daughter. It doesn't say in the article how old she is but I assume she is older.

I think these situations with Steve Irwin and Michael Jackson are no different from some of the things that happen at some point in everyones life, there is always a time when you do something that doesn't seem like a big deal and then the second you do it you're thinking "Maybe this was a bad idea", if you can honestly say this has never happened to you, it will someday.

I'm not sure of the full facts but think the whole objection is a result of these idiots allowing themselves to be filmed doing it. I would say the motive in both cases was profit of some description which I personally find repulsive.

well as an Australian I can say that I cannot stand the man and what he did was competely stupid and unacceptable.  It sorta seems sometimes that other cultures stereotype us into this role but to be honest most of us cannot stand the man.  One day, he'll slip and either him or one of his family members is gonna pay the price.

"But it's all about perceived danger ... I was in complete control."

Really? Complete control of what? Control of his child's death? Wow, I saw that footage, I almost lost my lunch. Sad, that his wife was a true Oregonian too. Makes Oregon look bad.

Another Australian view-the man's an idiot.
White on White fly all night.

Red on White you're alright.

Red on Red you'll soon be dead.
