to young for this stress

Postby Craig. » Sun Dec 14, 2003 7:42 pm

Damn those Broncos, first the Bears and now almost the Browns, Thank-god for ashley lelie and thank god we have such a good kicker,
overtime, 40 mins of possesion, and again portis only big player, i do not need this stress:)
although playoffs now look likely, Portis looks hurt.
Any thoughts from the football fans on this gam and any others you may have followed today??:)

I think they have been impressive lately-Portis has deffinately been their savior, although he's no Terrell Davis.

But, if you want stress-try being a Carolina fan.  If I remember right, they have had like 8 4th quarter wins and have 5 overtime appearences this year!  Yet, they are 9-5.  Now thats stressful!

lol true i guess.
But most of those must have been good teams, not the Browns:)
The Broncos play well under pressure and in big time games, look at KC for instance, and then in yesterdays game with them needed a score to save themselves, with lelie and Elam delivering the goods, the problem is, as with the case of Chicago, the get lazy, they think they can allow these teams to hang around and it bites them in the ass. Problem is our game schedule now, Portis, being injured could mean he misses the Indy game next week and is back for the Packers the following week, we could have done with him for the Indy game and not for Green Bay. The packers are looking beatable each and every week, so we shouldnt have a problem, but Indy are going to mean the Broncos will have to step up.
Maybe you can explain this one richie? Why is preist holmes, being voted into the pro bowl and constantly given the top vote by people? he is useless as a long field running back, and the only reason he has so many touchdowns is because they can only use him properly at the one and two yard lines. Are some football fans that dumb not to realise how bad he is? or is it just KC's winning record thats done it? Not just as a fan of the broncos, but Portis has been prob the best overall running back perhaps second best, he is first on the yards per carry record, yet hes not going to the pro-bowl again because of him
Cheers for any insight you can give

Easiest way to reduce that stress is to stop wasting your time watching football!

Just kidding, but it would work.
