Your personal aircraft...

Postby ATI_7500 » Mon Nov 24, 2003 3:14 pm

Imagine you had your personal aircraft...

- which aircraft would it be?
- how would it be painted like?
- how would you call it?
- how would the picture on the nose look like?

Any bubble canopied Spitfire with at least a 4 blade prop painted in any scheme so long as it's post d-day.

Failing that, just a plain old cheap, easy to maintain, every day C172... :)

F4U Corsair...  Bare metal with the black anti-glare on the nose. ;D "Drop Daddy" would have a 1000 pound bomb with a cowboy hat for nose art!

I would have an old B-17G-1.  In the olive drab green and grey paint scheme.  I would probably call if "American Maid" and have an old style pinup girl on it.

PBY-5A Catalina
Still workin on the paint.
have not named it yet, will depend on the nose art.
Searching through pin-up girls now.

Just to clear this up, I am currently building an R/C version of this plane as it will probably be the closest thing possible to flying one much less owning one.
