FS obsession

Postby jimclarke » Wed Dec 10, 2003 12:50 pm

Has anyone out there ever been threatened with divorce for playing on the computer too much?  Has anyone ever nearly starved to death at the keyboard?  What a great hobby this is!

Sorry, I just thought I'd throw that out there!!

You should have posted this somewhere else, like in General Disussion.  You would get more replies. :)

Well Jim my wife refers to herself as a SimV widow, but she does like the fact that I don't interfere with her choices in television programs ;D ;D ;D

Honestly no. Even though I enjoy simming as well as online gaming, graphics, etc with the PC, my girlfriend is much more important. If she wants us to go out and do somethign together, I will gladly go, even if its just shopping, as she shows me the same courtesy. We live together, so we spend most of our time doing things together anyway besides,  I get enough time to "play" at the PC.

Thanx for the replies!  I'm not really off the deep end ...yet.  Like Ozzy I fly while she runs the TV.  FSs are alot better than lots of the stuff on TV these days.  I'm not starving either.  In fact I'm working on a pot belly and if it keeps up will be a great place to rest my joystick!!

Wow you guys are only a little crazy? ::)
You sit in front of a small box made or reprocessed dinosaur and sand, and watch tiny dots of light flicker around and pretend that you're flying. Guys its time to come out of the closet here, embrace and love your insanity :-* :-* :-*

Well, me too I had some problem with my girlfriend. She think that I flight too much on FS. But I am not at the point where you divorce.
