its possible he was low on fuel and perhaps a heavier jet was taking off in front of him or had just landed, the wake turbulance from that on a light aircraft could have possibly sent it looping.

I hadn't considered heavy jets or wake turbulence as I don't know what types of aircraft operate from Kidlington these days. In my day it was mainly light aircraft. The CSE flying school based there was probably the biggest in the UK.

I ignored my own advice by speculating myself. Not a good idea & I should have known better. I think we should wait for the official report.
