I think you guys who don't fancy Thanksgiving dinner are taking things for granted.  I'd give anything to be with my family over a big meal of roasted bird, candied yams, sweet corn and of course pumpkin pie (yum yum!!).
Learn to enjoy these times...... they don't last forever.

Happy Thanksgiving to all out there!!

P.S.:  Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving too!

Hmmmmmmm.

If he was vegan he would have to forego the butter as well.

How do I explain this....

It's not like I never eat vegetables. I do, it's just not a lot and I would never sit down and start eating corn.

I eat mostly cooked stuff

It seems everyone's idea of a vegetarian is someone who sits down for a meal and eats nothing but vegetables. gimme a break ::)

I can't eat vegetables...my doctor tells me that I'm allergic to them... ;D ;D ;D

Just kidding I eat them, most of them are pretty good, but forget the asparagus and spinach...:-)

Well, all I can say is my wife is mad at me for eating all the pumpkin pie before she got any.  :P  She outdid herself this year with all the usual stuff.  She started cooking at 6:00 AM and I have never seen anyone so happy...

BTW, who's holiday is Boxing Day and what's that all about?  Something about the bosses and employees trading places isn't it?

According to the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, a vegetarian diet is one that is "consisting wholly of vegetables , fruits, and sometimes eggs or dairy products. "

YEAH! Corn is awesome! Especially if you get it straight from the farmland down the road on the cob, with tons of butter and salt...

Let's all give thanks for those women who prepare the feast, it truly is a labor of love!

Second of all,

Yes I'm watching my waistline.  I'm watching it grow.  And grow...and grow...and grow.....and.......

And lastly,
Andrew wrote:  I eat mostly cooked stuff
Somehow I can't help but picture an uncooked Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the Esselbach house!  But seriously Andrew maybe you should consider youself as a non-carnivore rather than a vegetarian.

P.S.:  Boxing Day, according to my calender, is celebrated in Canada, Australia, Ireland and the UK.  It takes place after Christmas but I'm not quite sure what its celebrating, something to do with storing stuff away I think.
