Airlines. Name and shame

Postby ozzy72 » Wed Nov 26, 2003 4:36 pm

Okay, well there are plenty of 'who is the best?' type questions about airlines lurking on the forums, so its time to name and shame those who have wronged you;
Mine are TWA (having stewardesses who look like Miss Piggys ugly sister, and have the personality of a cocaine snorting Rottweiler), and British Midland (who frankly treat customers like something they trod it!!!) and are more than capable of double booking every seat in the plane and telling you to get f***ed (direct quote from their groundstaff) even though you booked your seat 4 months earlier :o
So who do you hate?

Ozzy ;D

Why Don't You Move Your Arm!?

Well, I've never really had a bad experience on an airplane, but if I had to say...

American Airlines!  The plane was kind of cramped that day. :P

I would say that I hate Canadian Airlines....(no longer existing)...

I was flying standby one time and the stewardess (aka B!tch) told me in a very loud voice that because I was flying standby, that she is not obligated to give me a meal...

She said it very loud and everyone could hear which kind of made me out to be a chincy cheep skate for flying standby...

And what really pi$$ed me off about her saying that is that the plane was not even half full so it was not like there might not have been enough meals for everyone... >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

I hate GO. Last year the woman at the check out was more interested in her nails than the fact that my flight was to leave in 30 seconds. All she could do was sneer and say "You're a bit late arn't you?"

I just walked away at that point. It wasn't my fault my previous flight was delayed for six hours. >:(

I then booked a flight with BA. First class service on a plane with nine others! ;D

Never had a bad experience with an airline, save severe turbulence over Germany but that wasn't their fault 8).

Probably just a really old domestic airline in Australia called compass flying some DC-i dunno!  It was very noisy, and when i got home, i emptied their meal back up on to the hallway floor.

Other than that no real bad experiences.  Virgin Blue is cheap and affordable but you wouldnt want to be too big a person as it is rather tightly packed.  Qantas is still there and they are a big more expensive but you can always be guarenteed a good flight (although some of their flight attendants recieved training from Helga's House of Pain)

I would have to say all of em. Only! because of the terrible prices they have for food lately.

I was on an America West (great company) plane going from San Francisco back to Phoenix, when this woman next to me ordered a sandwhich. $13!

So they bring it out and it didn't look great. Looked a bit stale, but she grin 'n bared it. Terrible prices none-the-less!

Delta, yesterday on my flight from phoenix to cincinnati, (I think it was close to 4-5 hours) they gave me a seat with parents with babies, one in the row in front of me and one in the seat next to me..... >:(

even though they probably didnt do it on purpose, ....they still get the blame :)

The worst i've ever been treated on an airline is when I couldn't get into the Airforce One cockpit :-/

it's on display at the Museaum of Flight 8)

Never flown commercially so I really don't have an opinion ;D
