F4U Corsair Simulator?

Postby Scorpiоn » Fri Nov 07, 2003 4:26 pm

I had to de install my last remaining simulator becasue of disc space, and I'm really not doing good now.  Are there any simulators under a gig?  I can't find any civil simulators, so I'm just shooting for World War II.  I read about Warbirds III.  I had the first one, and find it quite enjoyable, but progressed to CFS2 - CFS3 to where I am now.  Problem is, I can't find anywhere to download it. :P Does anyone know of some good (realism) WWII sims are?  Preferably the Pacific Theatre, I've always liked it better. ;D

Ah Warbirds I, my first flight sim. There aren't too many sims under a gig nowadays. Try Orbiter if you haven't if you like space flight.

If you want a small one, CFS1 is still great ;)

Instead of going for a whole game, why not download some of the demo's for them?  For instance, with Lock-on, you only get two planes, but it's a blast...

If you can find a copy of Janes WWII Fighters, it's an awesome sim and only 256 Mb on a full install.  Great game. :)

I re-installed EAW in preparation for my earlier response.  It was a great sim and I really wanted to recommend it.  Unfortunately, it locked my system up cold and the only thing that would free it was a cold reboot.  Not good... >:(

I loved that sim - the only one where you could start as an Imperial Army pilot in a Nate and "graduate" to an Oscar....
