When you get five stars you are also able to decipher other Members text messages.....

"Oh, wait. I see now. You can change your vote! Cool!"

There you are you see, with a little bit of ingenuity, it can be done...

I usually type full words (I'm becoming a more formal-type member). I used to type with crypted words. But as I progressed through the ranks, I decided to type like an adult (in fact, I am!! I'm 19 as of October 10, 2003). Go figure. ::)

not really.
generally this isnt a forum which bases respect on post numbers, but how much help a person puts into their posts.
we tend to try and not pick on someone because they are new, sadly LOL
just kidding

Very True.

When I first came here, I knew nothing. But as my knowledge increased and as my 3-D modeling skills improved, I have been asked (not long ago) to help some people with their projects (due to my DVC-modeling, Aircraft-modeling, and Car-modeling skills).

You know what, I think that there should be new ranks for this forum. I mean, there are some people that have already reached their 2,000th post and they are still designated as Residents.

Suggested Ranks to install:

6 stars - Valued Resident (1,000 posts)
7 stars - Perminent Resident (1,500 posts)
8 stars - Major (2,000 posts)
9 stars - Colonel (2,500 posts)
10 stars - General (3,000 posts)

Ok, so I have gone a little overboard with the rank names and number of stars. But hey, it's a start.

Go to the Suggestions forum and look for a thread called 'Stars' and you'll see several suggestions for new categories.  I made some, Ken made some, etc...
