You run into a term like Parametric Modifiers.   :P  Sounds like something out of Star Trek doesn't it?

obviously they modify the parameters inside a program . . . . especially animation type programs . . .

It started out as a question because I wanted a bigger picture as to what they involve.  I was doing one of the early Gmax tutorials and it was the first time I came across it.  I figured out what it was, but still figured it was a funky term and an un-necessarily complicated one at that.  So, since my question was answered, and I had already posted it, I just decided to comment on it and the design forum didn't seem like the place for it.

So I guess it would be a Pippinism then...  Is that a bad thing?
