"Open Range"

Postby Travis » Wed Sep 03, 2003 12:57 am

I just got back from seeing it, and for anyone who likes westerns, gunfights, Robert Duvall or Kevin Costner, GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

For those of you who don't like any of this, GO SEE THIS MOVIE!  You'll like all of it by the end.

This is probably one of the best movies Costner has ever made, and will deffinitely get some kind of award at the Oscars, most likely Robert Duvall for best actor.

Best gunfight I have ever seen in any movie.  Realistic to the point of being trully painful.

LOL!  Even though I have never actually gotten in a gunfight, the shots they took made it look very, VERY painfull.

Ken, You represent the statement,..or
you resent that statement!  ???

Did I catch you, LOL or am I missing something!  ;)

Dances with Wolves was one of the best movies I have ever seen. It gave me an entire new perspective on the wild West. I am going to see it, thanks for the review!

I'll have to go check this film out.  I'll report back as to the authenticity of it.

Many of you may not know, but I've been in dozens of gunfights, and, in fact on more than one occasion, I was actually killed.

They're pretty scary.  Gunfights wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for all that shooting.
Great edit, Bob.

I just saw this over the weekend. I really wanted to see it since I thought "Dances with Wolves" was brilliant. Talk about a real gunfight. This gunfight which was between Costner / Duvall and the "bad" guys, was incredible. It was not like the other wester gun fights. You could smell the gunpowder and feel the concusions!
My wife Barbara did not want to see it, but loved it!
I recomend it.

Seriously, Will.  Can it be any worse than the original? ;)
