I just assumed, like most, that we were talking about 'Stand up' or 'Individual' Comics.

But as far as TV goes. Ozzy has included all the Pommy TV comedies I love/loved.

Open all hours:

Ronny Barker (writing 'shop special' on window): "How m..m..m..many  p..p..pp pee's are there in p..p..p.ppepp..pp.pp.er.

David Jason: Oh, about sixteen!

(Hey, this is fantastic.......I just counted the P's, and without having any idea, I find I have used exactly 16)

The funniest things amuse the smallest minds...........lol ;D

Oh yeah, Ozzy, you missed a good one "The Goode Life"

Oh..........and "To The Manner Born"   ;D ;D ;)

For stand-up, I like Jeff Foxworthy. He's the guy who does the redneck jokes.

For TV Shows, I like the Simpsons, My Wife and Kids, and George Lopez.

I surprised nobody has mentioned Bill Cosby. Back in his day, he was pretty good.

If you have to walk your kid to school because you're in the same grade... You might be a redneck...

I like Bill Engvall. He's routine includes "Here's Your Sign". He thinks stupid people should just have to wear signs saying "I'm stupid" so you don't have to rely on them. Stuff like

"The other day I was trying to sell my car. Some guy came over for a test drive, and when he finished driving it, he got out and stuck his hand on the exhaust pipe and said, 'Dammit, that's hot...' See? If he was wearing his sign, I could've stopped him..."

If were going to include TV, I like Red Dwarf, Father Ted, Only fools and horses, Have I got news for you, Still game and 2D TV (think the George Micheal video that got america mad at him ::)).

I read the "Silly Question" thread, and then noticed this thread ....

I don't know about others, but the "Simviation Comedy Club" members (also known as "Pete's Irregular Simviation Society for Excellence in Demagoguery, and Obscure Flying Fantasies", or regular posters) do a bang up job of comedy and entertainment.
