Fear/Phobias

Postby Tequila Sunrise » Sat Aug 16, 2003 8:30 pm

just wondering if anyone is willing to say what is their greatest fear and to see if anyone can answer a question thats been bugging me for months.
Mine include arachnophobia and drowning.

the question is:
Why is it more frightening to ask a girl out than to jump from 5000' ?
If someone with multiple personality disorder threatens suicide, is it a hostage situation?

I don't like crowds!! I could spend the rest of my
life alone on an island and it would not be a
problem!! Kimber is the same way, we need,
twin islands!!

The worst she could say is; "Yes, but not with you" ;D

Be friends first, if it is to be, it will happen!!
If not, you have a lot of friends!!

I don't like thunderstorms and large crowds. I used to hate hights until I went up Skylon Tower in Niagera Falls. These weren't sever as a phobia as they don't disrupt my life and make me cower in my basement.

Failure, I suppose.

I'd have to agree with you there Scorpion

Kittens that wave scare the CRAP out of me Steve-O!  ;D

I'm not fond of large crowds either, but it's more of a discomfort than a fear. I think my worst fear is speaking in front of a group of people (large or small, it doesn't matter).

Oh dear, I've always dreaded that someone would ask this question.....................ha ha ha lol  ;D ;D ;D

Seriously, I suffer from a mild to moderate degree of OCD, but it doesn't make my life a shambles like it can for some people.

I'm claustrophobic...........very.

;D ;D ;)

Enclosed small places are my worst nightmare.
Flying or being on the ocean are great. Let's just say I'll never be a miner or a submariner.
White on White fly all night.

Red on White you're alright.

Red on Red you'll soon be dead.

Because the ground won't reject you........ ;D ;D

Sounds like you may have a bit of a 'complex' as far as girls go, Craig. but I'm sure you probably know that, mate.

To be perfectly honest, I was never all that confident either, but for some reason, the few girlfriends I had before I was married and the ones that I've been involved with since (3 marriages), have approached me.
Of course, as soon as I was married the first time at 19, they started coming out of the woodwork.
