I've been lurking around here for a while and finally registered.
A brief introduction is in order:
I had my first ride in a Piper Cub when I was 5 years old that began a love affair with aircraft and flying. This fall will be the start of fulfilling a dream when I start ground school - almost exactly thirty five years to the day after my first ride.
The only thing I love more than flying and aircraft are my wife and four kids. They gracefully support my addiction and dreams of flying, even to the point of helping me build my first kit aircraft two years ago.
Presently I'm using FS 98 to help me learn navigation (VFR) and start to learn how to use instruments (since I want to be rated for IFR).
Nice to meet all of you,

Jes
