M$ Driving Simulator

Postby flyboy 28 » Wed Aug 06, 2003 4:09 pm

I don't know about you, but sometime in the future, I'd like to see an M$ Driving Simulator. Don't you  think that would be neat to start at your house and go on a 2 week road trip? That would be neat in my humble opinion. ::) BTW, I'm not sure where this should go, so Felix or Ozzy can move it at thier will.

Would the sim include police?  If so, that may make it difficult for me.   ;D

Nah, I don't like the idea of a driving simulator. A while back, I said I'd like to see a boat simulator. Imagine taking your taking your brand new Bombardier Seadoo across a rural lake at break neck speed or sailing the Voyager of the Seas across the Caribbean. That would be cool.

I wouldn't mind seeing a TRUCK driving simulator detailing all that is involved in driving a big rig over the open road.  My dad was a trucker for many years and there is quit a bit involved in it. :)

Would the sim include police?

They have games with police in them. Need for Speed, uh... Test Drive games are pretty good. In those, YOU can be the police and stop the speeders. In Test Drive 5, you have to stop speeding cars that have alredy commited crimes. The crimes include groping women, chicken plicking, rape, 3rd degree murder, and software piracy. All that good stuff. ;D

they should make a huge online world in which you can fly, race or drive a train but in seperate simulators... but that is future-to-come

Test Drive is dead since version 3 and 4. it has become too arcade-ish...
NFS 3 and 4 are cool, NFS6 has lot better graphic quality (static FS2004-like sunsets, no sheet-type trees anymore) but they got rid of the car interior view so it looks arcade-ish now too

If that happened, maybe 4_Series_Scania may appear out of the darkness!

Damn Right ;)

GTA3 isn't too bad from a graphical point of view, one of the best (and hardest!) driving sims I know of is an old Sierra Game called "Grand Prix Legends", released back in '98 I think and still supported today by a huge modding community.

Yup, I like this sim!

MS Driving sim? not if it runs as "well" as CFS3  :P

I'd like to see an app that exports your Sim City and creates a sceanery add-on for FS.... it would be cool to fly around the city you built!

sim copter and sim city 2000, if you have both of those you can create and export your citys to sim copter from 2000, not great graphics but thats the closest you can get right now
