Bahamas crash

Postby ozzy72 » Mon Jul 14, 2003 10:40 am

A Cessna 402 operated by Air Sunshine crashed in the waters 9 miles west of the airport in Treasure Cay, Bahamas.
The pilot - the lone crew member - reported trouble with the right engine at about 3:35 p.m. before all contact was lost.
One female passenger died, the other 8 passengers and the pilot were rescued.
This is turning into another bad week for aviation :(

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Its nice that most of them were rescued though but it is still sad that the poor woman died.
