ASF is a MS patented audio/video file type. You can unencode them, which doesn't help you much, but there doesn't seem to be anything available to encode them. I'm sure MS would sell you an overpriced package to do that.
One thing might work. Just change the extensions from .wma to .asf. I tried it and it worked with WiMp7. But that's no guarantee it will work in your game.
Also, when you're ripping these turn security OFF or you won't be able to play the files on another machine.
