Jurassic Park

Postby Jess Quackenbush » Tue Jun 17, 2003 5:38 pm

For anyone who has seen the 3rd jurassic park. Does anyone know what island that they landed on was on? Better yet, (If it was real) which airport? Don't care for the dinosaurs, but it was a pretty island.  ;D

Overall-   What was the airport in Jurassic Park 3?

I just did a search on Yahoo and MSN Map Zone for the island Isla Sornar and Yahoo turned up two German sites for Jurassic Park and Map Zone didn't find anything so I guess it's a fictional island or so out of the way that it's not listed in MSN's World Atlas.

It might be fun to create an add on of it but if your gonna fly into it then you'll have to have the Jurassic Park King Air skin. Part of the movie I hated most was when they trashed that beautiful plane.

I picked the 747 because I like it best out of all the big airliners although I don't fly them much. I have the same question though. What's the Boeing fleet and Jurassic park have in common?

This seems to be 2 topics in one.  ???

From what I can make out the 717 is not an original Boeing design. http://www.1aerospace.net/Commercial/b717.html
I've flown across the Atlantic on the 747 & 767 as a passenger. The 767 was very impressive but given the choice I would pick the 747 every time. I once asked a senior BA 747 captain what he thought about the (then new) transatlantic twins. He told me that in his opinion 4 engines is best but if they built one with 5 engines he would go for that. ;)

My favourite Boeing aircraft is the Stearman.
