Vietcong

I have recently got this game and all I can say is that its one of the best games i've ever played! It is far better than MOHAA for realism and gameplay. It has graphics that will blow your mind and more guns than you can shake a stick at.

The jungle enviroment is really cool. You hardly ever see the enemy intill he is 6 feet away and then you panic and fire a full clip into him. The AI is more very cunning and the weapons look sweet.

Whats more is the fact that you have to watch your step as you could fall into a spiky pit or hit a trip wire connected to a grenade or another thing with spikes.

Whats more is theres cool music and extreemly cool cut scenes with Hueys landing and taking off and bad language!

I really recommend this game!

the game was good, but i disliked the size of the maps. they were much too small. the atmospere of the game was great, i really liked my teammates, but the "lone wulf"-tunnel-missions were boring and unfair. another good thing about this game is the ai and the storyline: exciting with a big showdown (blowing up tanks, yeeehaw! ;)).
overall a game ,which fans of historical conflicts should try out. better than battlefield 1942, worse than ghost recon or operation flashpoint.

Thats an unfair comment. Some of the maps are huge and are far bigger than you need. I only found myself running into the edges on one occasion when I was running like the clappers from some VC troops.

I completed it today and although the ending was unexpected I enjoyed crawling under that T34 to blow it to kingdom come.

Also I enjoyed looking at my handy work on some VC troops after I had attacked them with a .50 cal. There were arms missing and everything! ;D Which is somthing you will NEVER see in MOHAA.

okay, the maps had very much details ,but compare 'em to the three isles of operation flashpoint...no chance ,man. ;)

btw. i just hate level borders in computer games. ;)

The maps on Vietcong are great!  I think that the traps are really good!  some of the tunnel maps are really hard, even though i completed it in 2 days!

Yes it may be short but they left it wide open for a squel with the bit at the end by saying "your small part in the Vietnam war is TEMPORARILY over".

Doesn't that make you feel better? ;D
