-Note how hard it is to see other traffic in the daytime without the big red letters hovering over them... ;D
-Think ahead
-Indulge in at least one big, stupid grin!!

Good advice. ;D I always think the big red letters would be useful in real life. Not very tactical though!

Try not to spend too much time looking in the cockpit. A lot of people spend too much time looking at the gauges, "chasing" the needles (altimeter! ;D ). Look out the window and enjoy the view (weather permitting)

Hope its a good one, and the Mr Met Man is kind/correct! ;)

Thanks guy's, from reading some of the other threads it also seems apparent that us simmers, once in a real plane, spend too much time concentrating on the gauges & chasing needles instead of actually looking out of the window & getting a feel for what's going on, I'll also try not to succumb to the dreaded 'death grip' ;D

-Indulge in at least one big, stupid grin!!

I'll try & get a picture of it ;D

Thanks for all of the advice guys.

The main 'bad' thing I got from FS was the tendancy to keep my eyes on the instruments. My flight instructor still gets on my case occasionally.

Oh, and one more very important thing. DO NOT brag to your flight instructor about logging x thousand hours on the flight sim ;D
