Runway lights show up late

I notice that regularly the runway lights show up to late, way past the point where I have to start my landing descent.
I read on some forums there is a cfg-fix for this, but I can find no links, or explination.
Can anyone help me out with this?

Have you tried to tweak fsx.cfg with http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html. (Dont know if it'll help, but a try dont cost anything.)

Your fsx.cfg will be backed up, but just in case, make a copy.

Yes, I indeed managed to fix some of it with tweaking with venetubo, I found a cfg-fix to increase the size of the lights a little, however I noticed that the airports from NL2000 still only show up when I'm practically above the landingstrip. On the NL2000 forums I could find the problem, but not the fix, so if anyone knows how to make the lights from the NL2000 airports show up in time, would be great.

Do you have sp2 installed?

Maybe developers added the runway lights to turn on, when you approach it!

Look on this site for "Nicks_Lightfix_V2.zip" I believe it will solve your problems. When searching for it delete the quotation marks.
