Hi Everyone,

This is my first post in SimAviation's forums, and maybe it can be helpful to all. I'm one of the administrators at Boston Virtual ATC (BVATC). We have a press release about the Gamespy problem... hoping that it can be useful to you aviations enthusiasts!

For the life of me, I cant figure out what all the fuss is about with the loss of "Gamespy", when the vast majority of FSX pilots, (together with CFS 1/2, FS 2002 and FS 2004 pilots), have been, and still are, using "FS Host", (via Chocolate Software), for their Multiplayer connections, since the invention of FSX!

Paul...regular FS 2004/FSX Multiplayer... 8-)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Pop down into the Multiplayer Forum and all will be explained how to connect FSX to Multiplayer (without using Gamespy).... ;)...!

http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost ... lient.html

Install "FSX Host Client"...read the instructions...put a short-cut on your desktop...run the program...and connect instantly to FSX Multiplayer*... :D...!

....its what we all do!

Paul... 8-)...!

* As a test, just insert this IP Address...66.90.73.187 When you are in, just press the Return/Enter key in the running FSX Sim for access to the Chat Window!... ;)...!
