SP-1 and SP-2

Postby Gringo6 » Mon Dec 03, 2012 8:16 pm

Just plain ole FSX taxes my computer pretty well. Should I decide to install SP-1 and SP-2 would they impose a greater load on my system than just FSX ?

I have tried (without too much success) to run Acceleration Pack but it is just too much for my aging system.

Thanks,

If you have installed Acceleration you've installed SP1 and 2.

Dear Boikat - Yes, but I had to un-install Acceleration because it was slowing things down too much. So this un-installed SP-1 and SP-2. Now I'm wondering if I should install just SP-1 and possibly SP-2 or just stay with the vanilla FSX.

I don't think that will help much. Depending on the specs of your computer, a better video card always helps.  It made a big differnece on another computer I had.

I suspect that you are right, so I think I'll just stay with FSX only and forget SP-1 & 2.
