Cabin Lights

Postby Mackyboy » Mon Nov 19, 2012 11:40 am

Hi All,
Is there any way of stopping the panel/cabin lights coming on automatic. So I can put them on myself.
The reason for this is, when i start in cold & dark mode, and it's dark outside they are already on when i enter the cockpit. I just want to make it more real.

Thanks

If you have saved a 'cold and dark' flight as your default flight, load the flight and check that everything including battery and all lights are off.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

OK, so I have saved a default flight Boeing 737, if I load it up in cold & dark, can I change it to an Airbus, or any other aircraft, and will it remain the same cold & dark state as the 737

Yes it will. You can change aircraft, weather, airport (parked) and time and your aircraft should remain 'cold

Make sure in your FSX settings under realism, you check the "pilot controls lights" option, that is, if you haven't already done it.
