The first one show an old 98 gauge.. Bf.Tupolev.Config
The second similar.. Toggle_Panel
When hitting close, they dont disapear next time i launch the ac.

I've been through some very deep searching on c and slave on every small files, even in registry, with no luck what so ever. None text of these shows in any files  Shocked Sad

Any of you have a clue on whats going on on my pc?

Both panel.cfg's have one FS98 gauge in each of them. Sometimes the gauge listed as being an FS98 gauge the name displayed is not the exact name of the gauge. I have seen this many times. If you would PM me and send the two panel.cfg's via e-mail once we connect via PM I will find the two gauges for you so you can either delete them or swap them for FSX gauges. I have one of the planes and have already fixed mine a long time ago. Bob.

Thank you very much BobF for your offer, but i must agree with Steve M. Hope you understand.

Those two bugs are well hidden inside a gauge/cab or xml file, and win7 search engine can't find anything with that "text" what so ever. XP could do it, but....... 8-)

YES, and that is exactly my problem!
I've been over uninstalling/reinstalling those planes, but it keeps coming!!

Sorry bass. I don't understand the problem. What keeps coming? I've tried several versions of the Olsson Viper in FSX & get no errors.

1. USVIPER.zip updated with FSX F-16 Viper Update

I just backed up those two ac and installed UsViperX.zip.
I got five old f98 gauges. I manage to close four of them, BUT still i get the "Bf.Tupolev.config" every time i launch the ac.....

Right. Let's take this in order.

The only update by Bob Chicilo I can find there is a texture replacement for the original FS2002/4 version of the Viper. It doesn't seem to fit the file description.

I checked that file out in my first reply in this thread. It's the complete aircraft & doesn't need any previous versions of the Viper installed. The panel uses only FSX-compatible gauges which are included in the zipfile. It works fine for me with no errors.

I can only assume you have other version(s) of the F-16 installed to FSX that are giving you the problem. Are you sure you're selecting the correct aircraft from the FSX Aircraft selection menu?

The link to the viper update is odd to me too.
The link i posted shows the update third last on the page, with a link to the ac requirred!

I have two f-16 installed, as mentioned, and i'm always carefull by selecting dl's to the right sim. Been doing this since fs98.

I've given up on this so many times that one time more wont hurt. But, if bying the Abacus f-16 and still get a bug related to THE ac f-16, which i think it is, would hurt.

I got those inside too with bugs, but i aint got any other f-16 than mentioned.....

You missed my point. Forget the VC for a moment. The purpose of aliasing to a default panel was a temporary measure. A process of elimination

Now i need to improve the vc on the abacus ac 8-)

If you saved your 10$ , and got 20 more, you could have got the Aerosoft F16, which is the best F16 for flightsim.
