Please help! Some planes in FSX got BLACK Windows!!!

Hello friends of curious stuff!

I got this problem for years!

These planes got black cockpit wondows:

-Sabre F86
-Boeing 737 - 200 (by ricardoTV)
-Boeing F 18 - E
- ...

What to do?

I got another Sabre Version and the Hud windows is black too

Most likely it's due to the alpha channel of the glass textures.  That can be fixed by using a program called DXTBmp and any graphics editor program to edit the alpha channel of the glass textures in the texture folders.

Also, to avoid any problems, just make sure you install Aircraft specifically designed for FSX,.... and not for FS 2000, FS 2002, or FS 2004!

Hey guys!

So DXTBMP, okay, I got it, it helps a lot with making skins, in other Flight Sims too. So what have I got to do with the glass? Is it possible to make it in GIMP too?
And yes, this Sabre.
And yes, I installed it in FSX to 100%, and it`s for FSX made.

For the Section 8 F-86, open one of the texture folders and locate the f86jv_glass_vcanopy, f86jv_glass_vcleft and f86jv_glass_vcmid. Open in DXTBmp and select the "alpha' tab and select the "create alpha template" from the drop down.

Okay boys, the Sabre (THANKS YOU) worked!

But too bad I didnt find the Glass things in the other planes...

Where could they be?
