I've downloaded an aircraft but what do I do now?

Dear All,
I am running windows 7 and have downloaded an aircraft. I have unzipped the file but what do I do next?
or is there any explanation on here that tells me what to do?

Hi Mark,

I think the link to the help FAQ is great, but if you are like I was about 5 years ago, you might be reading through the stuff, glassy eyed, thinking what the f___.

I figured about 10 to 15% of what I know about FSX on my own.....mostly after getting a good idea on where to go/what to do from here at SimV.

The other 85 to 90% I figured out from the smart folks around here. :) 8-) :)

While there is a LOT to be said about learn-by-doing, there's also a lot more to be said about learning how to to it from those smarter and/or more experienced than oneself!

Prevents rendering things FUBAR and having to uninstall/reinstall FSX in its entirety. :-[

After the fourth (or more) instance of that sorta solution, I figured I'd learn how and what to do (correctly!) the first time or so.

Saved on a lot of Advil that way! :D
