Nav radios in Tupolev 154

Postby bolingbrokejq » Thu Jul 12, 2012 9:10 am

The Nav radios in the Tupolev 154 v1 don't work for me. Can't tune them. Has anyone else had this problem and/or know of a fix? Thanks.

Yes, it's the one on the Simviation home page:
Tupolev Tu-154 V1 Package
Tupolev Tu-154 V1 Package (Category: FSX > Civil Jets)
Zip file preview
35.96Mb (6564 downloads)

Thanks

Welcome to SimV..

Open the aircraft.cfg file and goto the [Radios] section. Change the 'standby frequency' values for the comm and nav radios from 0 to 1.

Should look like this when done.

[Radios]
// Radio Type=availiable, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1=1
Com.1=1, 1
Com.2=1, 1
Nav.1=1, 1, 1
Nav.2=1, 1, 0

In the VC, left mouse click on tuning knobs to increase freq., right mouse click to decrease.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Thanks Dave3cu. That worked like a charm. both on VC and 2D. I have another AC with no vc but same problem on 2d radio. I'll try it there too. Thanks again.
