Great freeware, but...

Postby davido53 » Sat Jul 07, 2012 12:58 pm

We've been getting a lot of great freeware lately. Anyone try that new 737-900? Good stuff but the reflections in the windows are so distracting, I deleted the entire package.

I got that set and it's a keeper for me. Didn't notice the reflections but I'm pretty sure you can adjust that.

That kind of little thing would not be  reason to delete something. One of the beauties of FS* is that you can change or edit almost everything if you do a little research

LOL that's like saying: Oh there's a bit of weed in this beautiful green field. Oh well, I guess I'll have to rip out all the lawn...  ;D

It is really good.  I don't use that stuff because I have the NGX, but I did download this one, and it is really REALLY good.

If you don't want the Reflexion effect you can remove from every texture folder this file

737_Refection.dds

It should work

Once again someone its taking credit for something he did not do

I beg to differ, this was in the first sentence: "FSX Boeing 737-900 Mutli livery package - with comprehensive Alrot VC"
I do believe he credited the model and texture designers as well.

At least your name doesn't rhyme with a certain baby-show purple cartoon dinosaur who's name is barney. ::) ;D

Alex I didn't add your name - it was there. I do check about credits with files and add them if they are left out but this one your name was already credited. Everyone on here knows you as Alrot. It's easy - a LOT easier than your real name which I know as Alex (the rest is like chinese to me :) )

It is like you reading 'precisely and necessarily' - then close the screen and try to type it!!  8-)
