Changing Aircraft CFG File

Good afternoon all... :)

Would like to know if I delete all but the Pilot Position in this Aircraft CFG File will it take away the passengers/bagage in this aircraft?

I don't know if it will work or not, Doug.......but you could just make a copy of it.....then erase those lines to see if it works or not. If not just replace it with your copy ;)

If I am concerned about overall weight, I just reduce all the passengers and baggage weight to zero in the drop-down Aircraft Fuel and Payload Menu, and insert my own real weight for the Pilot; (154 Lbs.. :-*...)...

..it doesn't get rid of the passengers, it just makes my plane climb+fly faster.... ;D..!

Doug, altering the stations in the CFG might not be the correct solution.
I understand you complain about the presence of three passengers, in 3D, in your plane, and you would like to make them dissappear.

What you can try first, in game, is to set the payload of the plane (menu "fuel and payload") to zero, and see if the passengers dissappear. If not, that means that their model are not "payload sensitive". (In some plane models, the passengers, or military payload like tanks and bombs, appear only if the corresponding payload is set). In that case, there's nothing you can do.

I suspect that the passengers, etc, are part of the original Aircraft model, and can only be altered by the model designer, (Like Alrot's aircraft).

Paul...Modeling this years Summer flowery Frocks... :-*...!

Thanks Paul... :)

I do not see the reason behind having a Fuel Payload section and not being able to delete the baggage or passenges.

The Fuel Part of that section can be changed with no problem.

But apparently not the passengers.

Perhaps that is why Commercial Level Simulations say this model is not up to their standards and made if freeware?

Its not an excess of people in the aircraft which I find unsettling...

...its the lack of a Pilot in some of them!

An in-air view of the aircraft, with no pilot in it, is somewhat worrying!... :o...!

Greetings-
You want to stop seeing the pax. Have you tried removing the call for that bit of art in the .cfg? Then remove the corresponding amount of weight.
   Happy landings!
