... FSX reinstall! could I get some of your favorite freeware FSX aircraft/scenery? I want to load it back up with all good quality stuff and I can't remember everything I had before.

It's probably ok here ;)

I like photoreal scenery for FSX. Here are a few of my favorites:

Photoreal Kauai and Niihau by Rich Sorochak and 10m Hawaii mesh by Raimondo Taburet

Death Valley Photoreal + Holger mesh by OzX

Grand Canyon photoreal by OzX

As far as aircraft:
Take a look at anything by Tim Conrad

Dino Cattaneo has a couple of awesome military jets. Check the SimV site for repaints :)

If you're into tubes check out the packages by Chris Evans (Posky models) Look for the ones with Alejandro Rojas' VCs

This should get you started, I'm sure others will offer some suggestions too.

Chuck :)

Before you reload FX, You should copy your Add on Scenery folder, your gauges file, your Sim Objects File & your Scenery CFG file. After you reload FX then copy them back & over wright them. You will have every thing that you had before. Learned that a long time ago.   ;)

thanks for the list, chuck! I've been looking for the grand canyon package and I had no Idea that they had one for death valley! and dave, I have been doing that in the past, but I ended up with too many planes, and I prefer quality over quantity

I'm not a scenery expert but if you list 2 or 3 freeware planes that you want i'll see if i can find good downloads and let you know..:)
