Deleting acft

Postby tomt966 » Thu May 24, 2012 10:37 am

I loaded Eric Marciano's F-16 Block 20 for FS9 accidentally into FSX. The acft are there in the selections but they don't work. I want to delete them from FSX but can't find them....I've searched F-16 Block 20, Lockheed, Lockheed Martin, F-16, in WinExplorer/FSX and can't find these darn Block 20's...any help on finding/deleting them from FSX?

Any chance of a link to the page the file is posted on? I think Eric Marciano is a panel designer.

If you know what date you added the files you can search the folder by date and probably see them. Its worth a shot.

I don't think so because if the files weren't modified how could you know when this files were made?

By adding files the files wont change their date of their last modification

The only way its to do a seach manually LOOK the aircraft.cfg

This is actually a good suggestion. Open the SimObjects\Airplanes folder in Windows Explorer & use the right-click "Sort by > Date Modified" option (Win 7*). The aircraft folders should then display according to their installation date.

* Arrange Icons By > Modified (WinXP)

Yes, Eric is a panel designer and a very good one.
Have you by any chance got this installation into another ac folder?
What do you see in selection?
As Hager said, it might help if we know where you got it from.
