Are these planes freeware or payware?

Postby brettt777 » Fri Apr 13, 2012 2:14 pm

Can someone tell me if the following FSX planes are freeware or payware?

Aplhasim MiG-23
Alphasim B-1B
Alphasim SR-71
Alphasim F-111

I want them all but not sure how to get them and if I have the $$$ right now.

Those are probably ex-payware. Did you find those here in simviation? If you did that's because they're ex-payware and are now freeware...

Alphasim MiG-23
Alphasim B-1B
Alphasim SR-71
Alphasim F-111

All except the B-1B are FS9 models. Some of the others have been updated for FSX by third parties. Try a search on SimV. Site Search

There's a number of their older planes that have been around for a few years that I wish they would change to freeware...

Virtavia has been gradually releasing the older Alphasim aircraft as freeware. The latest one is the B-1B for FSX. They're not forced to do it & could easily simply remove them from their catalogue.

All the old Alpha freeware is posted here. You can either get the FS9 versions & convert them yourself or look for ready made updates on SimV & the other major FS websites.

You can get my updated Alphasim F-111 here
https://sites.google.com/site/shess0757/AS-F111-Panel
It has never before seen features in FSX including a real look ahead pitch and roll stabilized Terrain Following Radar system.
