2D Pit for T-20 Tigershark?

A great plane but does it have a 2D Pit? It seems to have only a 3D Pit. If so, how do you get at the 2D Pit? Thanks :)

Surely you should be able to download an old F-20 or F-5 for FS9 sooner, with 2D cockpit.
However, I have to confess I totally fail to see why you would want to use a 2D panel with such a plane  :-?
Using 2D panels with liners, I can understand (now), but with a fighter plane ?

Cloudancer, there in the DSB F-20 in the Simviation server, for FS9:

Perhaps this plane has a 2D panel that you can reuse in the IRIS F-20 ? I don't know if the gauges are compatible, but since the plane is freeware, it won't cost you anything to try :)

To each his own....

Yep, but sometimes I like to try to understand other's point of views.

Some would rather enjoy flying the aircraft rather than flying a camera?  ;D

I fly mainly military with occasional GA aircraft , and always fly in 2D panel.
I do have both VRS Superbug and Milviz F-15E , and have to admit they are very nice cockpit wise , but flying a virtual cockpit is a terrible experience in my view.

I have a very capable computer specifically built for FSX and still the virtual instrument graphics are sub standard.

My primary objection to the virtual cockpit is the view perspective , basically it's tunnel vision with narrow FOV that require constant changes in zoom , at

cloudancer,
If you have the now freeware IRIS T-6, you might be able to use the 2D panel from that since many of the gauges are the same, of course you would need a HUD.

Agree about the various set-ups, I fly 99% military fixed and rotary wing in the sim and since moving over to FSX, have not touched a 2D since. I can't "see" how a 2D FOV is better for anything more than straight and level flight/IFR. So much easier to fly form with the VC. Any port-overs I want to use must have a VC. I don't own TrackIR yet, but the "spacebar+mouse" viewing works for me now to quickly scan a panel/airspace.

As my main interest in the various flight sims is mainly to explore the scenery around me, rather than the fancy aircraft I am using/flying, I have always preferred the 2D panels, which contains all the information I require at a single glance.
Many of the default 2D panels can also be resized, (compressed lower), to enable a better vision forward.
Another advantage of the 2D panels, is the ability to modify the 2D panels easily, using my FS Panel Studio.

I know a lot of the VC Pilots decry the use of 2D panels, but for my particular purpose, exploration, using a map and compass, they are absolutely essential.... ;)...!

Most of my flights alternate between the use of the 2D panel, and the mini-panel, for perfect outside vision.

The colour of my aeroplane is of little importance to me. It is merely a means of transport!!... ;)...!

I have to agree with Fozzer here.
The scenery outside when flying, is the main thing for me too.

For what its worth, if you go into the fsx.cfg file and change the values in the dynamic head movement section to 0.0000 for each entry, the automatic tunnel vision and other programmed head movements will cease.
Don't ask an aviator if he flys fighters.
