Well done Alex.

Working perfectly fine now!

Thank you a million!

I don't know how 3 came in my original .cfg but I think we made quite a discovery here

I'm to using GSX and my original cfg also has 3 exits, could it be GSX that puts it there?

Hi and welcome , what's GSX ? any one could do it and even without being aware of it ,its a simple number that has to be change using Notepad
Yes the airplanes got hidden something that for a very strange reason Microsoft did not include in its final version

I think that's the most likely explanation. GSX needs those doors to open to work properly. http://www.fsdreamteam.com/products_gsx.html

I don't have GSX and my original aircraft.cfg also mentions 3 for the number of entries.
Most likely, it's a glitch in SP2 and Acceleration.

Hi
Hagar posted a link that show GSX ground service X
I updated to V2 and changed to 3 exits in cfg and now it works nice. Thank you for this great VC and for the hard work you put in! :D

That's odd. I have FSX Gold + Acceleration installed.

I just installed GSX to check it out & can confirm it changed my default 737 & 747 Aircraft.cfg number_of_exits = value from 2 to 3.

It could be, I'm running acceleration too.

I think when you instal GSX the installer updates all the default aircraft's cfg's to allow the door to be open.

So kudo's to the guys @ FSDT.

GSX is a program that provides ground services like refuel, air stairs, passenger bus, marshal, push back truck, catering services etc.

GSX is a gem and I am pretty sure will be used by most simmers.

QUESTION:  I'm just now getting around to Operating on one of my Aircraft CFG Files, were in the operating room now,,,,, (ER) - (Emergency Repair), so after reading all this, and you all are saying just change the "Exit numbers" from 2 to 4, do I also have to add all those other numbers after that too. because in my CFG File by default, after the number of main exits which is 2,, below that are more exit parimeters like , Exit.1 followed by a bunch of numbers - Exit .2  with more numbers.                                                           Are we only need to change the number of exits for the amount of doors we want open, on the 747-400 theres 12 doors that could open, 6 on each side , and 1 cargo door in the back starboard side near the rear at the bottom,,,,, I'm hopeing we can just change the Exits number from 2 to whatever number of doors we'd want open, and not have to fool with all those other numbers ????   I have a lot of passengers who'd like to jump out , because they don't like my flying skills in a 747 once at 47,000ft in a downward spiral  ;D :D ::) ::) :o :o
