Ignoramus needs help lol

Hi folks, I am new to all of the downloads and additions of aircraft etc etc to FSX but have managed by and large to download and install a number of aircraft that work well in my FSX. Can anyone teach me how to rectify certain problems ie: In some cases I cannot see anything out of the virtual cockpit. Where do the commands for vc hide themselves? Is it in the "Panel" folder within the aircraft folder? What is the difference between the files contained i9n the "Panel" folder and those in the "Gauges" folder? I would appreciate some help out of my ignorance lol.

The panel folder holds the files for the graphical display of the panel.  The gauges folder holds the files for the gauges used by the panel.

In regards to not being able to see out of the VC, if you are talking about not being able to see out of the canopy use the search function, do a search in this forum for "inverting the alpha channel".  You will find numerous threads explaining what you need to do.
