FSX Gliding add-on's

Postby SkyHawk00 » Thu Jan 19, 2012 1:00 pm

I'm having trouble installing CumulusX, and WinchX.
I keep getting an error message that says that the program in "configured incorrectly"
anyone have any ideas on how to fix this :-?

try installing it manually, like it says in the readme.

I copied the "modules" folder into the Main FSX Folder, then did the same for the "sim objects" folder. then after trying the automatic install without success. I then tried the manual install, and it still didn't work.

Well, you say that you first moved the folders to the FSX folder. That's a manual install.
In the FSX\modules\ folder, you then have a CumulusX\ folder, right ?
Do you have a reference to CumulusX stuff both in the EXE.xml and the DLL.xml files (those files are in the same folder than your FSX.cfg file) ?

Does the EXE.xml have to be a xml file to work. Because for me it's still a txt file :-?
