If I remember correctly, Roland had set a website specifically for presenting and downloading the Mirage (and some of his work on the Rafale too). He didn't want it to be uploaded anywhere else, and you had to be registered on his website in order to be able to download.
The problem is, his website was reaching the maximum monthly bandwith limit within 12 or 24 hours only. As a consequence, the website was available only half a day or one day per month, or something like that. So people started to complain about this, and about the absolute "no-repaints" policy. Probably he started getting some hate mail too.
I don't know what exactely convinced him to remove the website and Mirage, but the fact is that this plane cannot be officially found anywhere anymore. And that certainly produces a lot of suction.
