Can you be more specific. It would help to know which aircraft you're having problems with.

i watched a video on youtube how to dowload an aircraft and put them in the correct folder. the planes i have tried are the emerettes boeing 777 and an american airlines boeing 767. the 777 apears in the airplane folder but the 767 doesnt even know that is where i saved it. none of the planes appear on the game in the gallery.

Are you sure you didn't download "textures only" packages?
Because those are just textures, you need the whole plane to play in FSX...

This is the only Emirates 777 I can find in the FSX downloads section. http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=emib7731hx&categoryId=&filename=Y

The file name is emib7731hx.zip. This is what's inside it.

Note that the folder named Emirates B7773 A6-EMM (highlighted in blue in the above shot) is the one you paste into your FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes directory.

This is how it displays on the aircraft selection menu. Unfortunately the author forgot to include a thumbnail in the Texture folder. This can be easily fixed later.

After selecting the 777-300 you will get this warning. Click Run.

Followed by this one. Click Yes.

The 777 should now display in the Preview window..

Here's what it looks like in FSX.

I need more information on this one if you want me to check it out. Is it listed here? http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=american+airlines+boeing+767&categoryId=
