Glad that fixed it Doug.

Now I just did a quick flight out of Ketchecan Alaska with the default Beaver.

I am getting black buildings with some good graphics on the boats, cargo and some ships.

I doubt this has anything to do with your graphics card. Make sure you activated the SDT_Object_Library before any other MoCat scenery areas. It should be below other areas like Ketchikan Alaska on the Scenery Library list. This is how mine looks.

Thanks Doug... :)

My MoCat's Download looks just like yours in the Scenery Library.

Not sure why the buildings are showing up black.

I've just downloaded Version 2.0 of the Snow Dog Tours scenery from here http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=1SDTV2&categoryId=&filename=Y
& replaced the original version I had installed. I should now have the same version as you. My Scenery Library list now looks like this.

Not sure why the buildings are showing up black.

Look in the Texture sub-folder of the SDT_Object_Library. It should contain 608 BMP texture files.

Okay Doug, now I have it up and working great, the graphics and scenery but now there is another snag.

I can not get the menu bar to show at the  top of the flight screen nor does the pause bar show.

It worked before I installed this but neither will show even in a default flight.

Egads...what have I done now???? ;D

If you're in Full Screen mode press Alt to display the inflight menu bar. Alt + Enter toggles between Full Screen & Windowed mode.

Not sure what you mean by pause bar?

I'm pretty sure that's the problem.
And by pause bar, I think he means the red thing that flashes on and off when the game is paused in the bottom left hand corner letting you know the  game is paused.

Okay I have had it with FSX and Windows 7... :-X

You were correct Club508 in your last post.

What I did to get back my Menu and Pause Line when in simulated flight was to do a System Restore.

It worked, they both show while in simulated flight.

However:

I lost the most recent download which took hours to get to go into the Scenery Library...MoCats Snow Dog Tours.

I extracted to a separate folder and not directly to FSX.

Snow Dog Tours shows in FSX Addons Okay.

I have followed the Link many many many times that Doug "Hagar" supplied to do Scenery Library Addons with Windows 7 but the two "SDT Object Library" and "Snow Dog Tours" will not show up in the Scenery Library no matter what I do.

I go to:
Settings
Scenery Library
Addons
Snow Dog Tours
SDT and bring up the two in that folder
---Click in the white area...tried both left and right mouse

Time to have a break Doug. I'm not sure what you've done but I think you're getting confused. That's easily done with the way this particular addon is configured. When you've calmed down a bit I'll try to walk you through it.

Hi jetprop... :)

Not sure I can help.

If you are look at the link Doug "Hagar" posted in this topic, it is a good tutorial.

If you installed & activated it successfully it will work. The Snow Dog Tours scenery adds or modifies 139 airports and seaplane bases. Which ones have you tried?

Hook Head is not listed in the Readme. Which version of the Snow Dog Tours scenery are you trying to install?

I can't find it in the FSX default scenery either. :-?
