Does anyone knows why do i sometimes get black instrument table, with no working electronics? It can be really frustrating...

I wanted to insert attachment with images of not working cockpit, but i guess that i cant.

look at the top right of this screen, there is a 'upload images' option, click on that and check your file size, it does tell you what size the file should be, it then gives you a link that you paste into your reply here on the forum so that others can view it.

Turn dx10 preview off, is the plane your using for fsx acceleration (do you have acceleration installed or at least sp2? ) and which aircraft is it that your having this problem with?
Could be missing gauges or gauges in wrong location.

Other than that, look for master power/avionics battery switches and things like APU start.

Anybody else? I may not be back on for few days.

regards

Steve.

May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs.

Look for/check the 'Avionics Master Switch'. It controls power to the autopilot and other avionics and some instruments.

Also the main autopilot switch, usually labeled 'AP' or 'CMD'.

It might be easier to sort it out in a ga aircraft, like the default Cessna. The avioncs layout is much simpler than most commercial aircraft.
At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

Thanks Dave... It was that switch, and you was right, i tried to find it in different aircrafts but i couldnt. And it was very easy to find it in Cessna. Once i did, it was automatically turned on in other planes as well.
Thanks again guys...

That's always a good tip, to start with the default Cessna 172 to get everything up and working...including the Avionics/Radios.
Note also that if you shut down your aircraft using the Mixture Control (as you should) in GA Piston Props, then changing over to a Jet aircraft will result in the turbine(s) not firing up (which can be confusing) without either enriching the Mixture again in the C172, or using the default Crtl+Shift+F4; (Fuel Valve open).
(Ctrl+Shift+F1 shuts the turbine down).

Paul... 8-)...!

I started with a 747 and i didn`t really know anything about it, but it is really easy if you keep trying. But indeed a C172 is nice to start with!

What we mean is, if you jump into a big Boeing Passenger Jet, etc, and find that certain controls don't seem to work as you expect, and you cant figure out why, change over to the Cessna 172 temporally and set the controls first to get everything working correctly...then go back to the big Boeing!
Sometimes there is a "hidden" control in the "Boeing" panel switched off, etc, which you cant spot... ;)...!
