Zoom out :)

More seriously, the default sun picture doesn't look so good. You might want, instead of reducing its size, to replace it by Nick's sunfix, which gives you a nice looking sun with corona around it. The global size will be the same, but the look will be more realistic.

In the sim's main folder, there is a file called "suneffect.cfg", find it and back it up. Now open the original with notepad and make the following changes:

[General]
SunSize=xxxx <----Make this number smaller

[LensFlare.1]
Texture="xxxxxxxxxx"
Size="x.xx" <----And make this number smaller

[LensFlare.2]
Texture="xxxxxxxxx"
Size="x.xx" <----Make this number smaller too.

[LensFlare.3]
Texture="xxxxxxxxx"
Size="x.xx" <----You could make this one smaller too, I never saw a need.

It may take a little trial and error to get it looking the way you want it, but that's how you do it.
