Must just be a glitch. Probably if you googled it you might find an answer ;D
Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

I had the same problem with the P-40 while taking screenshots. I suspect I exceeded the structural limits.

Copied from the Pilot Handbook.

"Perishable feature

Removing the pilot from the aircraft via the Flight Simulator X payload
manager during flight will result in loss of control of the aircraft.

Exceeding safe limits when side-slipping will result in loss of control of the
aircraft. In addition any sideways angle of incidence greater than 40
degrees with a total weight of greater than 8,000lbs, or 60 degrees at all
other weights is likely to cause control or structural failure, and will also
cause your aircraft to become out of control and unresponsive.

Performing aerobatic maneuvers with a total weight greater than
8,000lbs may result in structural failure or damage control systems."

I love the p-40 iris. But I think that the feature should have an option to be turned off :(. It makes bombing and flying with active bombs a headache. And even when operating within the limits it still does that. We should find a way to get rid of that ;)
I have all the planes and they're all great apart from the pc-9 which I cannot get the CBLS or Grenades on :(. Help?

I tend to agree. Not convinced it's too realistic for a fighter like the P-40. I might try swapping the FD with the FS9 version.

Haven't tried the PC-9 yet. I'll check it out later.

I just tried the PC-9. The weapons work as advertised for me. They only work from the two included flights. Make sure you installed the flight & effects files. Arm the weapons via the tailhook command. You might have to assign a key for it. (The warning light doesn't display for me.)

I assume you can create your own flights in the same way as for the P-40. The weps will only work on the combat versions of the aircraft. Open the included .flt files in Notepad for reference. Look for the DroppableObjects section at the bottom of the text.

I'm wondering, how much did the T-6 and F-20 cost?

I appreciate when payware companies release their older models as freeware.  One obviously you are getting an awesome payware aircraft for free.  But my main reason is because I have seen many excellent payware aircraft disappear completely when a payware company (FFS comes to mind) decides to close its doors.  It is entirely up to the company, but one would think they would want their aircraft to live on.

I installed the Texan but, I can't find the GPS. Can someone tell me where it is?

Thanks,

Chief

There is no GPS pop-up - you could, however, add it to the panel yourself.
