Alphasim sr-71 throttle

Postby EVVFCX » Fri Oct 28, 2011 5:35 pm

Hi guys,
i've installed the sr-71 from here and having thrust trouble.
After takeoff I'm backing off on the thrust lever but speed just increases, only way to stop it is the use the big lump of rock beneath me :)

Has anybody else had this problem
May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs.

There are a few versions of the Alphasim SR-71

Which file are you referring to?

Hi Pete,
can't remember the link for it, I'll try and find it again.
The folder the zip file creates is called

FSX_Alphasim_SR71A

Yes it does keep accelerating.

Try this version updated by Danny Garnier--

Seems to be fine and great gauges too.

Hi Pete,
installed the sr71 and now getting unrelated message about addon scenery/scenery area.115 is missing.

It appears to be the reno scenery as far as I can tell from the scenery.cfg but don't know what it's referring to, I think its the reno races area, how do i do a repair?

The reno scenery and texture folders are there.

Any ideas, i've not added any scenery recently which hasn't already been run, it was ok before installing the sr71 was just a simple matter of copy and paste, there was no gauges but according to the readme, there should have been.

Ithought Iknew where the addon scenery was kept but can't see it.
