cant run some POSKY files

Postby Rayed R » Wed Oct 19, 2011 4:35 pm

hi, i downloaded several files from simviation.com but recently while installing some POSKY files i had some problems. the problem is i cant run them in my FSX Deluxe.they are listed under FSX category but there aren't any installation notes regarding FSX but only for FS2004. hopefully some one here would shed some light on this issue. :(
the files are:
1)Airbus A340-300 Air France &
2)FSX Biman Bangladesh Boeing 777-200 LR with VC

any help truly appreciated :)

Installation should be no different than any other addon aircraft out there. The main model folder goes in your simobjects/aircraft folder, effects into your main effects folder, and so on. Or is it just a specific item that you cant run? Keep in mind... these models were originally made for FS9, so you may need to attach a thumbnail to the aircrafts texture folder.
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

And do yourself a favor - don't go to POSKY and ask for help. All they'll do is insult you and yell at you.

I for one have never been able to get their planes to work right, despite spending quite a bit of time trying. And like I said, forget about asking for help. They're a bunch of arrogant jerks. There's better stuff out there anyway.

The 2 aircraft you mention install OK. Posky make some of the best freeware jetliners out there. Make sure you are installing properly. (All these were checked out before approval)

They are very straight froward.

Make sure the folder you move into FSX-Simobjects-Airplanes

Make sure this folder contains (directly) the 4 folders Model/Panel/Sound/Textures + aircraft.cfg + a .air file

If you need to see this in more detail please read this
