What's holding my system back?

PS- Modu 82+
CPU- AMD 955BE oc'd to 4ghz
Ram- 8G
GPU- ATI 4670

I would think the first thing is your GPU.

FSX, heavy tube, heavy airport and you have an almost for certain performance nightmare.

I just cannot see how someone can have fun landing a heavy at Portland with high settings.

Really those 10-15 fps landing just aren't for me, let alone single digits.

I do however believe flying bushplanes in FSX is a dream, I can fly anywhere and enjoy frame rates smooth & locked at 30.

FSX just wasin't optimized well enough for heavy comercial flights.

ATI seem to have cloud issues, as for new GPU id get the 560ti, its not much more expensive but a heck of a lot better. As for airports, 20 fps is good going especially if like me you have far to much AI. Heathtrow for me is 14FPs or so, but stutters are not so bad. A lot of the airport issues seems to be texture related ad when you look away from the terminals the fps goes up, you look back and they go down. But such is life.
